Would anyone like to compile a CD of songs (old and new) that have to do with turning or being "sixteen"? Do you think there are enough songs to make a CD? I can think of 2 songs off the top of my head: "Sixteen Candles" and "Happy Birthday Sweet Sixteen".

Party Ideas
Hey! I (Jackie's Mom, Kelly) am trying to get some ideas for the party. I have Jackie's suggestions but would like to know if you all have any fun suggestions. It is a 16th birthday, after all, and that is a big one.

Memories
Some of you have known Jackie since she moved here on 2002. Some of you who will be on this blog know Jackie from even before. What are your memories of Jackie? Post them here and we will give them to here after.
And, just a reminder, (this is Jackie's Mom), this is supposed to be a fun thing so let's keep it to good memories, OK?

Birthday Blog!
OK! As you now know we have set up a blog for/about/concerning Jackie's 16th birthday party. Jackie doesn't know about this yet--and won't until her party on Saturday. Drew suggested this blog so her friends could discuss anything about her party (for example: coordinating rides or sending birthday wishes or making sure nobody else gets the same gift as you or fun ideas, etc.)
This blog will be up for a little while after Jackie's party and then will come down. We thought we would print out the fun discussions and give it to Jackie later.
Just FYI, Jackie's mom is moderating this blog and will take out anything she doesn't like. After all, it's supposed to be a fun thing so anything she doesn't like will get axed!
Ok! Let the fun begin!
